Public operating commitments

Client value and venture development are connected—but never interchangeable.

These standards explain how Tateway protects customer expectations while allowing verified needs to inform responsible product and venture development.

The governing principle

Build from evidence without turning customers into involuntary test participants.

Tateway’s client-facing resources focus on present needs, clear deliverables, and honestly stated product status.

Its venture pathway focuses on shared governance, infrastructure, and long-term development. Both operate under the T.A.T.E. Way—Tried And True Evidence.

Operating safeguards

Six standards that keep the two pathways aligned.

Classify the work before it begins

Every engagement is identified as a customer-ready product or paid obligation, a voluntary pilot, or internal research. Experimental participation is never implied by an ordinary purchase or inquiry.

Standard 1

Protect customer information by default

Customer information is not reused for internal product development, demonstrations, or model testing by default. Synthetic or properly de-identified information is preferred when testing is necessary.

Standard 2

Honor contracted obligations first

Committed customer work, stated delivery terms, and support responsibilities take priority over internal experimentation and venture-development schedules.

Standard 3

Move recurring needs through review

A customer insight does not automatically become a product feature. Tateway first verifies that the need recurs, removes confidential details, confirms ownership and permissions, tests safely, and reviews the capability before release.

Standard 4

State maturity honestly

Products and ventures are described by their actual stage, including available now, pre-release, working MVP, or vision and architecture. Development-stage work is not presented as a proven commercial service.

Standard 5

Keep people in authority

AI and automation may support organization, analysis, and recommendations. Consequential business, funding, legal, financial, and customer decisions remain subject to appropriate human review.

Standard 6
